Term Evaluation 

This year it has be awesome because of all of the new skills I  can do in writing, reading, maths and topic. I have learnt how to controll my anger by helping people out and saying good things to other people and teachers too. The things I have learnt was about space and explanations at first I thought that learning about space would be a challange for me. But when I slowly started to learn about space it wasn't hard after all.



My favorite was going to the Botanical Garderns, at the botanical gardens I have learnt alot about our native birds and the NZ plants. My other favorite thing this year was learning about time I liked leanring about time because it helps me tell time and understanding it to.  I learn lots of facts about planets I don't know about. Also I like learning new things in music and swimming, in music I learnt alot of new chords in ukulele and learn alot of things in dance. In swimming I learn alot about backstrocks and armstrocks.

Next year I want to learn about Safety, I want to learn about safety because it sounds like a great topic for next year. Also some kids looks like they need a little help on the roads and walking all alone.

Room 7's Walk To The Panmure Library

Today our class went to the Panmure Library.  When we where inside it was nice and cold. Our class meet these people called Pare,Juanita, Ole, Kare. They were from the Auckland Museum.
Pare told us a story from long,long  time ago.The story was about two groups. The two groups was using the rakau and the patau and the story was also about our local  mountian (Maungarei).We practised and practised until we got better at the rakau and the patau. Our two groups ready but the two groups was'nt  strong  enough   we  tryed and tryed until we got good at our battle  the other group tryed to until they got better. The two groups where ready. One group said ''give our priness back''. The other grouup said'' No '' The group that used the patau said ''do you want to battle''. The other group said ''bring it on''. Then the two groups battle  but the two groups were evenly matched but then we battle again but we still was evenly matched  we battle again then the other group I think they won the battle. Then when we finished the play Pare said ''kare, Ole and Juanita will set up the table''.  Then after she said Kare,Juanita and Ole will set up the table she said that she will send us to a table. When she send us to our tables she said write your name on the paper towel . When we done that she said ''wait at your tables''.Then Kare, Juanita, Ole and Pare  gave us some clay. Pare said'' Don't touch it''.When Pare said dont touch it. Juanita said''dont push it to far ''. Then we had to do this thing I think it was called a Matau we had to make. After that we had to put a Matau on the clay. If we where finished we had to put it in the paper towel. Then we had to put it in a bag so when we come back to school Mrs  Miller can put it on the bench so it can go all hard. When we left  I really proud of myself for what I had did.
